Age long ripples between these two entertainers, Ruggedman and Mode 9 is
taking another turn. Recently, Ruggedman was said to have spitted that
Mode 9 should go and get another job as singing is not his calling.
It
appears that Ruggedman is set to revisit the hitches that have lied low
for months now. This time, the issue is coming from the comment made by
Mode 9 last week concerning his newly released album entitled,
Alphabetical Order. “I released an album and nobody cared.”
As
usual, Ruggedman has taken his time to reply Mode 9, saying that he
should go and get another job or adapt with the situation.
Rugged Man threw this bomb at Mode 9 while speaking on Hot FM’s breakfast radio show and did not mince words. He said “Mode
9 is not the only one that does the non-commercial kind of rap.
Basically if you are an entertainer you can’t do music for yourself
that’s why you are an entertainer.
“If People you are made to
entertain are not entertained, you should do one or two things, get
another job or adapt. I am not saying this to be funny or anything. If
something is not working anymore the least you can do is to try and
adopt what’s up.
“Even in America at a point it was all Eastside
…then Westside, you can’t do anything about it, if you can’t shape up,
you shape out.
“I actually started writing songs in English but
Paul Play advised me ‘you are in Nigeria, make music for Nigerians, add
the local language so people could understand, I put a little comedy to
it by bringing in Normoloss. “It’s not about how good you are but how
smart you are. I have said it ‘I don’t want to be ‘he can rap kinda
artiste’ but ‘to be a successful artiste’. Switching your style doesn’t
make you any less of a human because at the end of the day what you have
achieved is what would be asked.”

Ice Prince Is An Id*ot--Aggrieved Label Boss Says
An aggrieved music executive by the name Onyeka Nwelue of LaCave Musik
in Paris, France, has described fast-rising Nigerian rapper, Ice Prince
as 'an id*ot and has advised he should be lynched'. Nwelue made this
outburst on the Jos, Plateau State-bred rapper on a social media network
on Tuesday after Ice Prince had apologised for getting to a show very
late in Paris, France.
The rapper had tweeted on August 18, 2013 that, "apologies to the fans that came out last night in Paris... a better promoter will put up a better show soon!!"
The above statements by Ice Prince angered a friend of the promoter the rapper referred to in his tweet, who then replied Ice Prince with series of tweets.
"...Engaged in all sorts of publicity and running around, which I witnessed and even kissed your a*s the day you arrived the Schengen territory and all you could do was to appear at the show by 6am and then come to your Facebook to 'apologise' to the fans 'who came out' last night, that someday, a 'better show promoter' will organise an event for you, not knowing that it took those young men a lot of hardwork to convince people and tell people who you are," Nwelue tweeted.
"I used to think you were different from the other nitwits. You are a bigger c*nt. No apologies. Someday, we will stop hosting idiots like you in Europe and focus on the old ones; or maybe the Bongo, Fuji and traditional musicians from Nigeria will behave well, as I kept hearing people ask in Paris 'please who is Ice Prince?' Meaning you were not worthy of the complete stress. So, don't go fu*king around, you little boys," the record label boss said.
He also stated that, "there should be a 'Lynch Ice Prince campaign. Nitwit! Come to Paris again and behave like an idiot. I actually think you (Ice Prince) acted like a nitwit in Paris. Next time, think about those who came out in the cold for you first! You drowned people's reputation because of your selfish heart. Stop apologizing."

Stop Risking Your Lives For Unreal Greener Pasture Abroad, Develop Your Country – Briton Tells Nigerian Youths
A member of Volunteer Service Overseas, Mr. Michael Young, a citizen of
United Kingdom has charged Nigerian youths to stay in their country to
contribute to its development instead of risking their lives searching
for unreal greener pasture.
Young, who stated this along his counterpart, Miss Samuel Joy Ben during a press conference in Ilorin to mark the beginning of International Youth Day celebration in collaboration with National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kwara State chapter, said immigrants could make it in their countries without embarking on dangerous journey.
Narrating his experience with Nigerian immigrants in UK, Young disclosed that his contact with a Nigerian man with his family in his country was not palatable.
“I met him in the toilet, he told me he has a wife and children in Nigeria whom he had to cater for. He told me he has to work for 15 hours washing toilets in different places.
“The question is, why can’t they stay in Nigeria? You can’t make it in this country because life in UK is too expensive. Youths can be in Nigeria and contribute to the development of the country”.
The volunteer, who appealed to government to ensure good policies on education, said it is through compulsory education for children between 6 to 18 years that helped UK to reduce poverty and youth unrest.
Young caution Nigerian youths and immigrants to be sure of where they are going if at all they want to travel abroad, stressing that the risk facing foreigners are too challenging.
His counterpart, Miss Ben advised Nigerian youths to change their attitude towards acquisition of money, stressing that there are many ways they could contribute meaningful to the society.
In his reaction, the Chairman of NYCN, Comrade Kazeem Adekanye noted that the main agenda of many youths in Nigeria travelling abroad is to seek greener pasture which lures them into series of problems.
He appealed to Nigerian youths to stay in the country and utilise their skills, talents for the development of the nation, stressing that over 70 million Nigerian youths out of over 150 million Nigerians are enough to build the nation

The Trouble Started Two Months After We Got Married...Funke Akindele
And it gets messier...Funke Akindele and Ex Husband soil each other's image in public
Well, in a revealing chat with E-247 magazine, Funke Akindele sort of replied her husband's interview...
Read what Funke told E24-7MAGAZINE on Friday:
That place is not for me, I have been through hell and back.
I was abused emotionally and verbally. Really, I felt we could work things out when the trouble started two months after the marriage.
But I made up my mind and shut the door of the marriage at him when the trouble was coming to me too much.
I stooped to conquer him; buried my fame and name to make him my husband, but it did not work. At a point in time, I asked if it's not the same man that was all over me before we married.
He nearly got me off my career. He called me severally; I did not pick his calls but when he realized my silence was tormenting him, he took to Facebook.
It's alright.
Ask him when did he come to my house last? He left me here in my rented apartment with nothing and he will just dash in and dash out. He gets abusive, caustic anytime we have a misunderstanding and often told me to my face, he's going to his wife in Oshodi.
He sent me SMS that he has seen a buyer for his house at Adeniyi Jones for N40million. He asked me if he should sell it and that if he does, he will buy me a new car and a rent me a new apartment.
Why now? I don't need all that, I want my sanity. I respect him to the end but he chose to treat me that way. He said he wanted to clip my wings.
After Funke ignored him, he sent her another text abusing her and calling her names.
“So you can see that he does not mean well for me,” Funke re-iterated.
Funke and Kehinde rarely spent substantial time together even at the peak of their marriage.
Both kept to hectic schedules by virtue of their chosen professions.
While Funke is often involved in back-to-back shooting on movie sets, Kehinde jumps from one construction site to another; pressing buttons for his political ambitions; and keeping dates with his wife at home and other women by the side.
Besides, Kehinde's disturbing and haunting pasts have repeatedly stared Funke right in the face, and according to E24-7 MAGAZINE's impeccable source, Funke learnt shockingly that her once beloved hubby was expelled from the University of Jos almost as soon as he was matriculated as a student of the ivory tower.
His admission, was faulty right from the beginning and since that first attempt at tertiary education went awry, he shut his door at education.
When he returned from Jos, he found strength in his entrepreneurial skill coupled with the influence and support of his mother, a market leader and successful businesswoman; he became an estate developer, building chains of shops in Oshodi market.
Gradually, he crept into politics and his popularity soared that he became a well-known grassroots politician and a great mobilizer.
To shore up his image, he found in Funke who has become monstrously popular with her movie, Jenifa and the sequel, The Return of Jenifa, a ready tool.
He convinced the favourite actress to lead him to the Leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he had assaulted many years ago during the market women leadership tussle between his mother, AlhajaAlmaroof and the late Iyaloja General Alhaja Abibat Mogaji.
After he atoned for his 'sins,' he joined the train of well- wishers that went to London to felicitate with the former governor when one of his sons graduated from a university in London.
Kehinde's lost bid to win the contract to rebuild Oshodi market really threw him off balance and that probably made him to turn the heat on his latest wife, Funke who wanted his attention.

Idiot Criminal of the Day
There's
an important lesson here, and it is, if you're going to set your house
on fire, for whatever reason, at least have the courtesy to leave a note
for your roommates. A few weeks back, 30-year-old Adam Glenn Hamilton
of Avondale, Arizona was walking around, quoting Bible verses, and
ranting about DEMONS in his bedroom closet. So Adam decided he was going
to send those demons back to hell by lighting his closet on fire. He
dumped paint thinner in there, set it on fire, and took off.
Unfortunately, his two roommates were home and according to the police
report, Adam, quote, "was going to tell them about the fire, but
forgot." Fortunately, both of them managed to get out safely, AFTER the
fire had spread. Adam was arrested on Monday, and is looking at two
counts of endangerment and one count of arson.
