Davido and his manager Kamal Ajiboye were allegedly arrested in a club in Budapest for possession of fake currency which he used in paying for his drinks at the club.Davido was billed to have performed at a show in Budapest but did not arrive the venue until about 5am.
This made the Nigerian born organizer, Osariemen Ekiudoko Frank angry and refused to pay Davido his balance for his performance.
Following that incidence, sources say Davido was supposed to leave Budapest for Paris for his next concert scheduled for 28th of June. However, Davido missed his flight and had to spend another night in Budapest and decided to go to a party with fake euro notes and was arrested by Hungarian police.
Davido’s manager alleged that the fake euro was given to them by the show organizer in Turin, contrary to news making rounds that he got them from Switzerland. The event was organized by Donko Consult and Stunt Entertainment.
Davido and his manager were eventually released thanks to the intervention of the Concert organizers in Budapest and some ladies who accompanied them and informed the Hungarian police men that Davido is a music star.
Davido and his manager eventually flew to Paris on the Sunday the 23rd.
